I used to be able to drag and drop more than one plugin at a time, and it was my favorite feature because it made updating so much faster, but I am not able to do this in 3.1.0. Was this feature removed or is it a bug?

Thanks for reporting this. It’s a bug, not a removed feature. When we rebuilt the admin screens in 3.x, the new upload area started keeping only the first file when you drop several at once. I’ve confirmed it in the code and we’re working on a fix, so you’ll be able to drag several plugin zips in one go again (the same fix covers theme uploads).
Until the update is out, please upload the zips one at a time. Sorry for the hassle, and thanks for letting us know how much you use this feature.
