Hello,
Since updating to Winden 2.4.1 and enabling the ‘Oxygen Builder’ autocomplete (plain classes) toggle, I’m having severe issues with random styles applying to elements on the page when I click on them in edit mode.
I’ve disabled the ‘Plain Classes’ plugin but a Plain Classes box is now displaying when I’m editing in Oxygen.
To replicate the issue, enable the plain class autocomplete in Winden settings and ‘edit in Oxygen’ the Cyber pathway page for example, then start clicking around on elements in the Cyber Security Analyst section and you’ll see the styles self-applying.
I have disabled autocomplete for now but is this something that I need to have enabled?
Many thanks,
Katie

Yes, with Winden latest versions we include page-builders plain classes natively inside Winden, that’s why you don’t need to have another plugin installed. And you need to have it enabled otherwise tailwind classes with brackets, underscores, dashes and so on will not work in oxygen.

Thanks for your response Mohammad but unfortunately, having the plain classes autocomplete toggle enabled makes editing in Oxygen an absolute nightmare. Clicking between elements carries across styling from other elements on click. Here’s an image of what I’m referring to – https://5968541.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/5968541/Example-of-strange-styling-applied.jpeg
I clicked on the button in the edit window and then clicked on the heading and they’ve both gone strange. That screenshot also shows the Plain Classes box displaying under the Class/ID section – should that be displaying like that?
You can see the additional styles that have been applied here – https://5968541.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/5968541/Additional-classes-added-on-click.jpeg
The only classes that should be applied for that button are wywm-button-courses and whitespace-nowrap. The rest have been added on click.
The site styles seem to be displaying correctly with the plain class autocomplete toggle disabled and the Plain Classes plugin deactivated which is odd because tailwind classes are in use.
Tailwind classes are allowed without Plain classes enabled as well, but some class names like any one which has characters like (comma, dash/minus sign, $, >, etc) will not work. Other normal class names will work.
Can you please provide a backup with AIO migration or allow us to take the backup for further investigation ?

Hi Mohammad,
I’m happy for you to take a backup of the staging site for further investigation.
Many thanks,
Katie
Actually, sorry Mohammad, if there’s any risk by doing the backup, please wait until the new year as there will be limited support on our end during the festive break. Happy to wait until next year to resume investigation.
ok, We are taking the backup for now, I’ll check the new version before release to test it on the staging site.
As this is staging, I hope If I may break it, there will be no issue.

Mohammad Arshad
