SWISS KNIFE Bricks

Hi –

I have identified a HUGE opportunity with ReactJS custom code in Bricks builder.

The idea is to make several useful visual tools inside of WordPress Admin to help ReactJS coding.

Many CMS solutions like Strapi help Javascript coders to build out CMS based apps. The issue is there is there are almost no plugins for these Javscript CMS solutions like Strapi and Headless WordPress.

Headless WordPress is not good. You still need to make many UI apps to help users.
Monolithic WordPress and ReactJS is not good. It is very difficult with all of the directory issues, routing, authentication, etc.

 

I use WP-SCRIPTS to ‘npm run build’ and other npm build stuff.

Then I run ReactJS in the wordpress directory inside Bricks edit.

I have used NextJs for routing but I found TanStack Router to be much easier.
I use Advanced Themer + Winden for Tailwind.

I have listed some features I think would be very helpful to ReactJS inside of Bricks Builder using “Swiss Knife – Bricks”

Would you like to collaborate on adding some features to “Swiss Knife Bricks”?

• NPM Build Status
• Directory locator – help choose the correct dir structure in the reactJS code to match the location within WordPress and Bricks and the Bricks Child Theme.
• Help with WP AUTH
• Integrate Tanstack Router + UI — We need something that helps match the WordPress Directory Structure and React Router (Tanstack). Keeping track of the WordPress directory + WordPress Routes —> Tanstack Router.
• Basically a series of tools to help ReactJS coders make apps.
• File and User Authentication Status
