Error: foreach() argument must be of type array|object, string given

Publish date: 06/17/2025 •  Bug • Wp-admin-cleaner •  Isaac Eboji

Hi Support Team,

wp-admin-cleaner plugin is expecting an array or object but is getting a string instead, probably due to bad or missing data.

The location of the problem: wp-admin-cleaner/admin/admin.php on line 2272

This error is showing up multiple times, meaning the plugin is calling foreach() on a misconfigured variable repeatedly.

I have left the Debug error display on so that you can see for yourself. The site is still in development and I will appreciate a quick resolution.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Isaac

Kindly provide the login URL as I don’t see it above, only username and password and ftp details are there.

The issue is replicated, and will be solved in future release.

Let me know if the above FTP access is still valid for your domain, so that I can apply the fix to our plugin.

Note : I’ve moved the site backup and login details to above WP Login area, as it is secured area both (WP Login and FTP) and visible to you and us (admins) only, all the other things including replies are visible to public, so kindly note that for future.
