Scripts Organizer (Gutenberg Addon) doesn’t generate scss correctly

Publish date: 06/03/2025 •  Bug • Scripts-organizer-acf-gutenberg-addon •  Alec Seidemann

Hey,
I have a problem where my SCSS is not being generated correctly by the ACF blocks. Changes are no longer visible. You can test this by simply adding something to the SCSS in a block and noticing that nothing changes. What could be the reason for this? Can you take a look at it? I use PHP-FPM and have OPcache active in production mode, so files are retrieved directly from the cache. However, when I regenerate my Docker containers, nothing changes. So that can’t really be the cause. Do you have any ideas?

Sometimes it doesn’t connect the live SASS compiler, (external site), maybe server cache issue or so, but we will improve the logic in future release.

Let’s us know if the issue is solved or not, because I’m seeing you are editing one of the custom blocks, so I can’t troubleshoot things.

You can try to save again any of the block and check if that solves otherwise let’s know, we can help you out.

Nope, nothing changed. If I am saving the Block, nothing updates in frontend. CSS ist still the same. You can feel free to test and edit. I have a full backup of the website.

Works for me, but there is a need to clear browser cache each time, just because it is set up via the caching plugin as well, I’ve tried to change the SUCHE code-block scss making the icon color to white and then check on front-end with CTRL+F5 (CMD+F5) and it works, but it doesn’t work with normal refresh (F5).

Kindly check with other browser, because it is working fine in the 2nd test after your reply with the HERO SECTION.
