Fresh install: Scripts organizer 3.5.4 Bricks: 1.7.3 (and 1.8 beta 2) WordPress 6.2.1 Am I doing something daft?

Any news on this? Am I posting in the right place for support?

  • support says:

It is working fine for me.
    1. mouse over to show the palatte, and click on any one color

It it is still not working for you, then you need to provide us the website login details where you have a problem like this, or setup a WP instance over InstaWP or TasteWP.

You can provide us details via going to MY BUGS > *YOUR BUG REPORT NAME* > EDIT BUG

Note : Don’t put admin details in comments.

I’ve set up a fresh install where you can see the problem, and updated the access details in the bug report. I’m probably missing something obvious, but nothing happens when I hover over the colour picker, or when I click on it…

      • support says:

I see the problem, You have not setup a THEME STYLE inside bricks. Here is the video for that (specifically for colors starts at 06:53).

I’ve already set up a custom theme style and the colors from it is showing now. Hope that solves your query.

        • Daniel Wexler says:

Thanks – I thought it was probably something simple!

          • Daniel Wexler says:

Hmmm… This is still not functioning as expected:

I have now loaded Oxyprops, which has a theme style including colours, and yet it is not registering…

Sorry if I am being dense!

  • Daniel Wexler says:

Okay – I think I’ve worked out where the issue is – the color picker does not respond to variables – and completely ignores any theme style that only contains variables, so they don’t show up at all.

Is this now a bug, or a feature request?

    • support says:

Yes, Scripts Organizer only support Bricks Colors defined as #hex values.

I’ve noted it down as FEATURE REQUEST to also support variables etc. for the development team.

Thanks for reporting this. It will be available when it is ready in new version of Scripts Organizer. Please follow Facebook group for plugins updates.

      • Daniel Wexler says:

        That’s great, thanks.

Is there any chance that you could support the user color palattes, as well as/instead of the Theme Styles – this might make a bit more sense, as the Theme styles are a specific subset made up of the color palattes that are only designed to be used in certain situations and are necessarily rather restrictive.

The way things are at the moment, we have to define a color palatte, then use this to create a theme style (that we probably don’t actually want or need) in order to have it appear in the Scripts Organizer menu.

Does this make sense to you as a feature request?

        • support says:

Question : Is there any chance that you could support the user color palattes?

More Details Needed : Where you would define user color palattes ?

          • Daniel Wexler says:

I am talking abut the user colour palettes that are a core feature of Bricks. You can see a brief description of how they work here:

            https://youtu.be/GuwDKmsJOj8

I believe this is actually where you are supposed to assign the colour palettes, not in the Theme Styles – the Theme Styles colours are very limited, for specific pre-determined purposes, and cannot be renamed. You can use the colour palettes to define the Theme Style colours, but not the other way round…

  • support says:

Kindly update to the latest update release Scripts Organizer 3.5.6. The issue is solved in that release.

We are still open this ticket for 3 days, just let us know the result.

  • Daniel Wexler says:

Unfortunately, the colors are not visible – I just see a load of circles with gray and white diagonal stripes through them.

When I click on them, the variables are inserted – but it is useless, because there is no indication as to what variable you are going to get before you click it.

    • support says:

Can you please provide the login details of this website where you have issues. Kindly update the ticket with login details in specific form field, don’t put them in comments.

    • support says:

Login details are fine, and the issue is OxyProps doesn’t loading their css variables or you can say stlyling on the backend, that’s why the colors are not visible, I’ve forwarded the problem to the development team, and we are looking an answer from the OxyProps team as well for the integration support, we can’t do anything for this on our side without the help of OxyProps team, please wait and I’ll update if I got a reply from their team.

  • support says:

The update is released version Scripts Organizer 3.5.7, I’m closing this ticket as RESOLVED now, as it is already solved on the current site, and now you can use the latest version on any site you want.
