I have tried to paste in code; and nothing ever happens.
I have tried disabling all plugins; still nothing.
In the console I am seeing “Paste HTML”‘ but no outputs.

You need to have https in url, mean SSL should be activated on the domain, if you tried this on localhost, there SSL is not active usually, that’s why you can’t paste.
