Just a quick question. So in using the plugin last night, I shut off the edit locking with Hydrogen pack because I was not able to A. Open “home” in oxygen and B. Open “home” on the backend of WordPress. With edit locking, no matter what I did, I could not get rid of the “oxygen is open in another window”. I have no issues opening multiple oxygen editor windows.

So I disabled edit locking. Everything worked fine. Until the end. The page that I built? Saved. Previewed multiple times. Appeared to be fine. Until the last save. Nothing I had built in the last 45 min was saved. Completely reverted back to where I had started.

My question is. Should I disable edit locking? I really want to be able to A. Open “home” in oxygen and B. Open “home” on the backend of WordPress. I was hoping Collaborations would allow me to do this. And it did but my page broke. And I dont want that to happen again.

One response to “Collaborations”

The Collaboration plugin can not help you open the WordPress dashboard and Oxygen Editor from the same page at the same time.

    In a simple explanation,

When you open the WordPress dashboard of a page, you also load the Oxygen Editor’s “shortcode”, as shown on this screenshot https://support.dplugins.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Screenshot-2022-02-18-134057.png
That “shortcode” is the same data saved by the Oxygen Editor.
